Frontenac Outfitters instructor's will teach you fundamental kayak skills right here in the warm calm waters of our own beautiful Pearkes Lake... the perfect venue to enter the wonderful world of kayaking.
Our "Getting Started Course" focuses on kayak terminology, understanding boat design and key elements of what to look for in a kayak. On water skills include proper paddling techniques and the importance of form. Rescues and safety skills are also emphasized.
Course completion provides you with the skills to quickly become an educated, self-sufficient, responsible kayaker!
