Discover Algonquin Park on this combination of a classic canoe trip followed by a relaxing stay at the rustic Algonquin Log Cabin.
The Algonquin Canoe and Lodge is for people at any level of experience. Our pace is very relaxed, as the trip objective is to have fun, look for wildlife, swim, and explore the beauty of Algonquin Park. Distance is not our focus as we take time to learn to canoe, portage and have free time to swim in the fresh clean water.
The Algonquin Park Canoe Trip allows us to get into the interior of Algonquin. The campsites are spectacular and offer us good opportunities to see and hear wildlife. If we are lucky, we might catch sight of a large moose or hear a pack of wolves howl under the full moon!
The canoe trip ends and we transfer to the Algonquin Log Cabin for a shower, sauna and bbq feast! The Log Cabin is our home for the last two days where we experience the wilderness by day and return to some rustic comfort in the evening.
