Description:
Sea kayak the wilderness coast of Lake Superior for an adventure tour of a lifetime! Gargantua in Lake Superior Provincial Park is a mythical place of the Ojibway; the landscape is replete with mystery and native heritage sites, such as Devil's Chair and Devil's Warehouse Island.
We paddle above the eerie glow of massive boulders in the deep clear water, while passing ancient lava and crystal clear streams. Moose and caribou occasionally wander by the solitary beaches.
As this area is relatively sheltered, the sea kayak tour is ideal for the novice sea kayaker. The first half day of our adventure trip will be spent on sea kayak lessons, so prepare to get wet!
Deduct $20 CDN/day for those who supply own fully equipped kayak; group discounts (> 5 persons) are %15.
Airport pickup and return from Sault Ste. Marie (depending on van availability) is $150 (return) per group/trip, cost will be pro-rated per individual), but please call ahead to confirm!
