Package
Description:
This canoe trip is for teens who can only take one week away from their busy summer activities. The Rivers of Algonquin Package is for teens (ages 14-17) who love fast-paced fun.
For beginners and experienced canoeists, we spend 6 days whitewater canoeing on the Petawawa River in Algonquin Park, Ontario. It's loads of excitement on a stunningly beautiful river.
The trip starts at Lake Travers, site of a National Research Council radio telescope project. Our trip journeys through the heart of Algonquin park, past the Crooked Chute, and along heart-racing Rollway rapids.
We camp at The Natch, under magnificent 30m cliffs adorned with rare ferns and flora. The Natch is a historic native American gathering place to celebrate nature's summer bounty.
Short paddling days give us time to relax and enjoy our summer camping experience. It also affords lots of playtime in rapids, without the burden of heavy gear in our boats.
Shuttle services from Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal are available for all our youth programs.
Please call or email us today for more information about the Algonquin whitewater canoe trip as well as other PaddleFoot canoe and kayak adventures.
