Description:
The Temagami Outfitting Company, specializes in wilderness adventures for organizations, looking to incorporate the natural world into their group experience. Located seven hours north of Toronto, the Temagami wilderness region has over 1000 canoe routes to choose from, offering some of the world's best paddling experiences for canoe enthusiasts and adventurers. Ancient canoe routes and portage trails provide the only access and means of travel through this extraordinary wilderness backcountry.
Our new seven-day canoe trip requires no prior experience. Outdoor and environmental enthusiasts pack all that they need into a canoe and travel in the fashion of the ancient Anishnawbeg or French Voyagers, paddling, portaging, and sleeping beneath the stars as they once did. They enjoy beautiful landscapes, outstanding sunsets, great food and fun. Each day presents new and exciting challenges, new waters, and new campsites. It is a trip that offers travelers a lasting connection to the land and water and to those who share in their experience.
Your guide, canoes, outfitting gear, custom food packs, maps, route consultation, park permits, boat shuttles, canoe/safety instuction, and first and last night lodgings on our remote island at the beginning and end of the canoe trip are all included. Our shuttle van can provide groups flying round trip to Toronto or North Bay airports with transportation to and from Temagami, or they can travel by train or bus http://www.ontarionorthland.ca/.
* Group leaders are included at no additional cost for every eight participants.
