We are anxious to create for your group a one-of-a-kind outdoor educational program at our beautiful natural campus, Northern Edge Algonquin. The Edge is located less than 3 hours from Toronto at the northwest corner of Algonquin Park.
Spirit of Algonquin : Fully Guided & Outfitted Canoe Trips in Algonquin Park
We have been leading Algonquin Park canoe adventures with High School and Post-Secondary students from Northern Edge Algonquin since 1987. We fully outfit groups of up to 40 with packs, canoes, camping equipment and food for Algonquin Adventures that depart right from our beachfront.
Personal Growth and Enrichment: Our talented teachers and guides lead school group adventures that awaken participants understanding of themselves, each other and the natural world.
Leadership: Students develop leadership abilities, learning paddling and camping skills, and leave-no-trace camping procedures on our Algonquin Park Group Canoe Trips. Solo time in nature helps participants gain a new perspective on their life.
Spirit of Algonquin experiences offer opportunities for personal growth and enrichment, development of leadership skills and discovering hands-on ecology of Algonquin Park. Lodge-based naturalist experiences awaken appreciation of natural treasures of this region.
