Escape from the city this weekend! Have a fun filled weekend getaway kayaking on Cole Lake (just north of Parry Sound, Ontario) and Georgian Bay, Ontario, Canada! This is our most popular weekend kayak package. Start out on the first morning and learn how to kayak (Basic Skills). The next day we head out on Georgian Bay for the Kayak Daytrip Island Adventure - a day of kayaking and exploring.
The Perfect Summer Kayak Learning Vacation Weekend on Georgian Bay includes the following:
- an introduction or refresher to kayaking course on the first morning
- continue in the afternoon and learn the ropes of kayak rescue *(optional)
- the next day is the kayak day trip island adventure on Georgian Bay, Ontario. The day is spent paddling the smooth rock, fragrant pine, sparkling waters of Georgian Bay's 30,000 islands - and you're the captain of your own boat! Bring your own picnic lunch to enjoy, swim in crystal clear waters and have the time of your life sea kayaking on Georgian Bay
- spend two relaxed, fun days learning new things with lots of encouragement
- work on specific paddling and tripping skills en route
