The Algonquin Log Cabin 3-day package is ideal for people who prefer to explore the wilderness on their own, or to relax on the dock, in front of the fireplace or in the sauna! The Algonquin Log Cabin offers fantastic canoeing on Surprise Lake as well as a variety of hiking trails. Self-guided maps are available at the Log Cabin.
Three day lodge-based adventures are convenient with trips leaving every Monday and Friday from Toronto or Algonquin.

The Algonquin Log Cabin is a small, rustic wilderness lodge located at the north-west corner of Algonquin Park, famous for wildlife and natural beauty. Situated on Surprise Lake, the Log Cabin combines a scenic and peaceful location wtih knowledgeable wilderness guides, warm hospitality and an intimate ambiance.
The Log Cabin features six bedrooms that share two washroooms. A hot shower and wood-fired sauna are found in the shower/sauna house. A reading library, living room with huge stone fireplace and candle & kerosene lighting provide a traditional warm ambience.
