Description:
This canoe trip is not for the faint of heart. If you are up for a challenging adventure in Algonquin Park, choose this trip. We'll paddle 47 km over 7 days (no big deal) but we'll portage canoes at least 19 times over a total of 13 km over hilly terrain! This canoe trip requires teamwork & endurance while providing opportunity for introspection, reflection and nature connection.
Though the canoe trip route is difficult; much of it rarely travelled, the solitude and nature we encounter in Algonquin Park will make for a truly once-in-a-lifetime physical and emotional challenge. There is a serenity and calmness that pours over us as we leave the crowds behind and venture deeper into the forest. Our rhythms begin to match those of the natural world around us and we become more aware of the life and vitality of nature.
