Package Description:
A 1-day paddle on the Grand River with a choice of five different routes, ranging from 3-6 hours long and open every day! Great for the whole family! We'll provide you with free river maps to help you on your way. All trips listed below are priced the same.

The Grand River offers over 150 miles of paddling adventure. Our trips are located on one of the best sections of the river. There are different types of water to paddle down, from calm & easy to multiple swifts. The river is unique because, on average, it is only 3 feet deep and can be paddled all summer.

The Oneida Run is 12 kilometres long and takes about 3 hours to paddle. It has 1-kilometre section of easy and fun swifts to run, no portages and lunch is eaten on one of the islands. Shuttle times are 9:30 a.m and 11:30 a.m daily. This trip is great for new to intermediate paddlers.

The Cayuga Run is 12 kilometres long and takes about 3 hours to paddle. It has some swifts at the start and a 3-foot shelf drop that you can run or paddle around (no portages). Lunch will be eaten on one of the islands. Shuttle times are 9 a.m, 11 a.m, 1 p.m and 3 p.m daily. If you decide to camp overnight, campsites are available at the end of the trip. This trip is great for new to intermediate paddlers.

The Seneca Run is 20 kilometres long and takes about 5 hours to paddle. This is a very comfortable starter-run with some scattered swifts. Islands to picnic on and no portages. Shuttle times are 9:30 a.m and 11:30 a.m daily. This trip is great for novice to intermediate paddlers.

The Tuscarora Run is 25 kilometres long and takes about 6 hours to paddle. This trip covers the best of the Grand River. It has a 100-metre marked portage that circles around the Paris dam. Shuttle times are 9 a.m and 11 a.m daily. For those who wish to camp overnight, campsites are available at the end of the trip. This trip is great for intermediate paddlers.

The Nith River Run is 18 kilometres long and takes about 4 hours to paddle. This is a narrow wilderness river that ends with about 3 kilometres of splashing fast-water. There are a few small portages around trees. This trip is only self-guided if you have run it previously with a guide or if you have advanced paddling skills. Shuttle times are at 11 a.m. from April to June.
This trip is great for intermediate to advanced paddlers.

HOW OUR TRIPS WORK - park your car at the end of one of the river runs and we'll bus you upstream, then take your time paddling back down to your vehicle.

All trips include strong, light prospector-style roto-mould poly boats and your choice of wide, stable 14-foot family canoes or regular 16-foot canoes, paddles, life jackets, bailer kits, shuttle ride and maps.

Passengers that sit in the middle of a canoe pay only $10 each.

Children under 5-years old are free.
