Description:
ORCA (Ontario Recreational Canoeing Association) moving water kayaking courses are offered at PaddleFoot. ORCA Kayak certification is widely recognized across Canada and by many paddling organizations across North America.
These courses provide a strong introduction to whitewater kayaking. The emphasis is on understanding white water principles and safety. PaddleFoot is offering both Moving Water Level 1 and 2. The Level 1 is designed for people with little to no white water kayaking experience. Level 2 participants should have attained the Level 1 skills before moving into the advanced skills class.
Participants should be able to swim and be comfortable in and around water.
